The main issue with low ram is that windows will try really, really hard to make do.which means the system gets really, really, slow. So in your case it s likely to default to 1.5x to 3x the RAM size, so that would be 6 to 12 Gig of virtual RAM. I remember reading somewhere that the Adobe products require a minimum of 8Gig just to run, with 16GIg MINIMUM suggestedĪlso, windows uses the size of the RAM to calculate the size of the virtual memory Plus some light office work (word-processor, email, spreadsheet, etc) The computer is probably only intended for light web browsing (ie not a lot of browser tabs/windows open). Not enough disk space might be your installation problem right there (although today most programs during installation first check to make sure there is enough disk space and prompt you if there isn't any.but in this specific case, who knows? lol) You should check how much disk space you have available on drive "C:". So I'd guess it has the minimum SSD main drive (drive "C:\").
Even 8 GB is marginal.ĤG in a laptop/desktop usually indicates a very low spec computer. I've looked all over the place in product descriptions, reviews etc and found no mention anywhere about a limit on RAM.
